City Forest, 2021
Monoprint on foraged Vermont birch bark, foraged Cape Cod Mimosa tree branches, Akua ink, jute
City Forest reflects two key themes from my pandemic experience: the city and the forest, representing my transition from New York City to Vermont, merging towering skyscrapers with majestic trees. This installation interacts with the airflow of passersby, serving as a tribute to the duality of danger and safety in the air we breathed during the pandemic.
